My Expressionist Flags & Waves Paintings are characterized by dripping and pouring techniques that lend themselves to flags, waves and other visual and artistic framing effects. These paintings still include some splatter and freckling but only to balance out and support the final images. As with Splatter Paintings, I will apply abstract and expressionist techniques to your photographic subject, printed on canvas, with the occasional use of figurative hallmarks (e.g. heart shapes, flags) or other metaphorical symbols inspired by your input and the subject. The result is a special vitality, customized symbolism and inspired kinetic energy that elevates your picture into a personalized work of art.
My goal is to imbue your image with vitality, emotion and the aesthetic you prefer to create a totally unique and elevated work of art that will make you feel something special forever.
Your photo will be printed and mounted onto a 1.25" to 1.5" thick Gallery Wrap Canvas stretcher. The edges/sides will be painted (unless you say otherwise) in concert with the front of the canvas, creating a complete work of art that does not need framing. Lastly, keep in mind, every painting is inspired by the story you tell us...
